I'm a visual artist and well-rounded creative professional with a decade of experience in advertising, film, production design, and more.

I work in many different styles and mediums depending on a project's requirements, but my specialty is developing worlds that capture the heart and imagination.

Directing

I've directed dozens of projects over the years, but my personal favorite is this low budget music video from 2012. The band gave me full creative license from start to finish, and I was able to craft a watercolor dream world to tell the story of their music.

Timbrook Toys

My biggest ongoing project is the indie toy company my wife and I created together. From designing and hand-making our wooden toys and games, to building out our retail space, to creating paper-craft home activities, Timbrook Toys has been an absolute joy to develop.

Illustration

Whether a project is a standalone artwork or a full-scale film project, I always start with drawing!

I work in both traditional and digital media. The freedom to quickly iterate and fix things in art software is great, but I will always love the fat inky lines and and chaotic watercolor washes a real brush can achieve.

Environments

Sometimes people hire me to design sets or make retail spaces look and feel magical. This ranges from typical interior design tasks like picking colors and furniture to more elaborate development like painting custom murals, building specialized fixtures, animating menus, and even designing gardens.

Regardless of the scope of work, my focus in developing any physical space is to tell a story using objects and materials.
